Pinarello 2015 Dogma F8
Name: Daniel’s Aunt Fluo
Measurements: She’s a love with her 56cm top tube. Complemented perfectly with the 2015 Super Record 175 crank and a mid-compact 36/52 gearing. She’s wearing ENVE SES 3.4 clincher wheels hand built by our Overlord with contrasting Chris King red hubs. Her wheels are beautifully matched by her ENVE Aero SES 44 compact bars. She wears Pinarello’s newest carbon fiber, TORAYCA® T1100 1K, from head to toe.
Likes: She’s the Queen of climbing and floats up hills like they are flats. If you haven’t seen the views from Stagecoach Blvd in Evergreen, she’d love to take you there!
Dislikes: She dislikes mean people and especially hates cars that pretend not to see her (hello- she’s in a high vis outfit! No excuses!)
Ride Quality: After riding three generations of Dogma, the F8 comes in as the stiffest, lightest and smoothest! Yet as the stiffest Dogma, she still is the most comfortable and gives the rider the feeling of flying on land.
Favorite Route: Aunt Fluo starts near her home in Lakewood and heads west to Morrison. She climbs Bear Creek into Evergreen and continues along Upper Bear Creek. Then, she turns onto Witter Gulch where things start to get a little steep. After enjoying the burn of a 15% grade, she takes you to Squaw Pass. But it’s not time to descend yet, instead climb up Squaw to Echo Lake. This is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite before she starts the descent back through Evergreen. Then to the I-70 frontage road and finally, back into Lakewood.
