I don't know if it happens to all bike shop employees but I personally fall in love with certain paint jobs. This is one of those.

There is nothing else in the world like a Colnago frame handpainted to look like frozen water. She is in a category of one.

The Overlord was excited to make this build happen for me once he realized it was true love. He mentioned in passing that he had some Campagnolo Super Record parts in a box that would work and the Colnago bars were a breeze to pick. The only hold up were wheels.

I started with a set of Campagnolo Boras. But the Overlord sold those. Then I bought a nicer set of Boras, and the Overlord sold those too.

More about me

I upgraded wheels with every pair he sold, until I bought a pair of Lightweight Pfadfinders. Then he sold those.

The Lightweight rep came by the shop and I explained what had happened. He helped me get another set ordered special just for my build.

Then one day not long after those had arrived, I saw the Overlord walk over to MY wheels and start taking pictures. He was preparing to sell those!

I did what any person would and immediately bumped my bike build up the service calendar so it was due to get built that afternoon.

Thankfully that worked and I get to introduce to you: Josephine Adaline Albertson. We call her Jo.
